Lauren Ell, Founder
Lauren Ell grew up in a moderate Christian household in Southern California. She became atheist at 18 years old, but maintained appreciation for her Christian upbringing. She is an outspoken atheist speaker and networker, and founder of a number of atheist-oriented organizations, such as Republican Atheists, Atheist Moms and Atheists We Are. She has been living in Sweden since 2016 and has one daughter. Her professional background is in marketing and communications. Ell suffers from Epilepsy, but has been seizure-free for over five years since taking epileptic medication.
